But the heroes have families, and relatives, who are left to preserve the memory of the fallen officer and learn to live with an enormous loss. 

The loss of a family member, be it father or mother, husband or wife, son or daughter – is always a painful, tragic, and irreparable event. The relative of the fallen Hero lives through a terrible woe, and therefore it is extremely important to provide them with comprehensive support. 

Helping the fallen Heroes’ families is a noble cause. And let it not be easy, but different paths exist in which this help can be provided. 

One way to support a bereaved person is to give him/her a break from a daily routine.
